I shot Neda Agha Soltan
I allowed tyranny to reign.
I allowed religion to be used for evil.
I did not lift a finger to stop it.
I am the good man who did nothing.
I did not speak out when I had the chance.
I did not act before the evil took hold.
I did not vote when the vote counted.
I had faith in freedom but did not act on that faith.
I had faith in humanity but did not act on that faith.
I had faith in God but did not act on that faith.
I am the coward who died a thousand deaths.
I was silent and did not speak.
I did not believe it affected me.
I played it safe.
Tho I did not hold the rifle and pull the trigger,
I shot Neda Agha Soltan.
